Really nice experience except my tv didn’t work. Temperature in the plane was quite warm for the entire flight - actually just outright hot making for an unoleay4 hours. Crew either couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything about it.
Seatback entertainment system did not work even when the flight attendant rebooted it. At least I had my cell phone to connect with wifi. Other than the two hour delay, it was fine. Of course they were very professional and kept us informed throughout the whole delay.. The helpful attitude of the staff, and being a wheelchair passenger everyone was helpful and understanding. The trip was made comfortable by the upgraded seat which was given without my request, that was a great surprise.
It took the crew over an hour and a half to bring out drinks. I paid to upgrade my seat to Comfort+ only to be near a crying/screaming baby who was seldom quiet. Noise-cancelling earbuds didn’t even help. I was offered 2 vouchers for inconvenience, but those vouchers aren’t usable.
Was it just that time, or always like this - cant say. Other than that all else was fine. Another late flight from United. We never got the exact reason why. When we got on the plane, the staff seemed to spend a very long time just milling around in the front of the plane.
I would fly again the whole experience was great. The only feed back I can give that they don't do that American Airlines does is the crew there is more humorous with boarding and thank their passengers. It makes it more fun to fly with them.
I suspect i caught flu on this flight as i could hear someone coughing a few rows back and ended up with flu a few days later. Also tiresome to have to watch movies on my device by holding up smartphone screen, would have liked to have in seat display. Flight from CLT to DUS via MUC ticketed by United Airlines and operated by Lufthansa. 2nd leg of flight from MUC to DUS was cancelled and no notification provided. At check in , Lufthansa agents at airport were unable to locate record and wanted us to contact United Airlines directly. We waited to takeoff for about 1 hour delay for a 20 min flight.
